“The Virginian is a small and older motel in small town southern Virginia. If you are looking for a bed for a few nights this is the place. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere, The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient for what I needed. It is also pet friendly for a $10 per night pet fee, much less than I have paid elsewhere.”

“All remodeled rooms new everything. I really nice place to stay in Meadows of Dan when riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff is amazing”

“Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!”

“If you’re looking for a one night stand, this place suffices. Don’t expect a fully clean room, outlets to work, or the lights to stay lit. The maintenance staff have a lot to work on concerning their abilities.”

“Pool could be cleaner. Stuff floating on surface of water. Breakfast room in air conditioned. Food at breakfast was very minimal. Bathroom floor could be cleaned such that it didn’t appear dirty.”

“Manager was nice there are laundry mats close by you are close to different restaurants but you must check out Livy's ice cream 🍨 banana split was awesome enjoy your stay at Relax Inn”

“The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!”

“Liked everything! Room was ready. Sheets looked clean, smelled clean. Bed was very comfortable, slept great. TV worked . Bathroom was very clean. Was quiet, slept like a baby... Would definitely recommend .”
